  1. HI....are you from India? I read something about Apsara pencils on your blog. I'm from Chennai but live in Canada. I could not believe it when I saw your blog. I LOVE stationary too.

I lived in the Middle East when young and went to the American Embassy school. I grew up with crayola crayons, Venus Velvet pencils and GEM erasers. I bought some stock of Venus Velvet pencils from Ebay and keep them like gold :)

The Velvet pencils are like Ticongerogas. I have two kids and we have a huge stock of supplies because I just love them so much!

Please give me your email id so that I can send you pictures.......my email is write2nalini@gmail.com

    We can become stationary buddies!!!

    Take care
    Nalini

    1. Hi Nalini, good to connect with like-minded people! Yes, I am from Mumbai, India. And I LOVE collecting stationery... hoarding it is more like it. :) I'll send you my email address separately, so you can send me the pics.

  3. The nice thing about Ticonderoga's is that the eraser quality it also top notch. My kids put on an arrowhead eraser when the Ticonderoga eraser is too small to use, but the pencil is still long enough to use.
